ok when people think of teenagers they think of trouble. but not all teenagers are like that, especially me. Im not as boy crazy as it seems. Yeah, here and there I might like a person, but there isn't anybody right now that can hustle with my hustle. =]

I wanna be a professional Dancer and do some other things here and there. Im only 15 my mind isn't fully made up yet. BUUUUUT, I know that I'm going somewhere in life and I DARE anyone to try and stop me. WARNING, it won't work. =]

I love dancing and I've only been doing it for about 6 years now, when I realized I had rhythm. lol. Now that I've fount it, I can't lose it. I've been performing at shows for years now and every time I hit the stage I just don't want to ever get off.

There's nothing else I could say, besides Beyonce's new videos, that gets me more excited than performing.

So while youngin's are going to jail, having babies, and doing some other things I'd rather not speak about, THIS TEEN IS CHASING DREAMZ.

editorials in school.

In my journalism class we've been learning how to write editorials and usually kids give a quick boo hoo when it comes to writing, but my classmates, as well as myself became quickly fascinated with writing editorials.
I wrote an editoral on how dumb boys are. Yeah, I know so typical, but I had a bast writing this paper.
soooo I decided to share my writing..



“I was just f*****’ them girls, I was gon’ get right back,” Jay z, rapper and businessman, said in the 2001 hit single, “Song Cry”. In the song, Jay z was expressing his feelings on how he felt after his foolish actions resulted in his girlfriend leaving him.
The reason girls either ignore boys or leave them alone is due to the fact that boys do stupid things.
Many girls argue that when boys do stupid things such as love taps and footsies, it’s cute and that they love the attention. However, girls who find this cute and attractive are as idiotic and immature as the boys who do it.
When guys use tired, old, lame pick-up lines to “bag” girls, it’s the most stupid thing ever. For instance, if a guy walks up to you and says, “Hey, I’m looking for treasure, can I look around your chest?” you can’t help but stand there and jut feel sorry for the poor child. Or how about, “The word of the day is ‘legs’. Let’s say we head back to your place and spread the word?” see now it’s okay to give him a good slap in the face. How’s that for a love tap? Pick-up lines are useless and don’t impress girls.
Sometimes when a boy is constantly harassing and hovering over a girl, it could be quite annoying, if you ask me. Girls jut need their space sometimes and boys who violate that space can be pains in the (you-know-what).
When boys act like “little boys”, it’s not cute. For instance, when you want to spend time with you boo and he’s playing wrestling with a bunch of boys, it’s not cute and type suspicious.
Also when guys try to act tough to impress a girl, he does everything but impress her. Let’s say he’s leading his girl on that he’s this big, strong man, and then this guy comes along and wants to fight him, then what happens? That tough guy image quickly disappears and the b**** in him is revealed.
Boys do not get any play when they act dumb. If boys would man-up and be real, they’d actually get somewhere in life.

I am... Sasha Fierce.

What a wonderful album title, huh?

=) . My Favorite artist Beyonce Knowles Carter's 3rd Solo album comes out TODAY!

I encourage everyone to go out and buy this album. Not because it's Beyonce, but so that people can get to know who Bey really is and get a taste of Sasha Fierce, Beyonce's alter ego.

This album is said to be Beyonce's most personal and reflective album yet, in which she shows the world who she really is. The album includes 16 tracks, including "Single Ladies(Put a ring on it) and "If I were a boy".

Beyonce is quoted saying:

"The new record is a double album and has two covers, like a magazine would have two covers. One of the covers is named I Am and the second cover is named Sasha Fierce. That is my alter ego and now she has a last name. I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am. That's why half the record, I Am is about who I am underneath all the makeup, underneath the lights, and underneath all the exciting star drama. And Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage."

I can't wait to get out of school and pick up my very own copy of Beyonce's "I am... Sasha Fierce". I got a sneak listen of some songs on the album thanks to Myspace. The album seems to sound great. ;)

GET A HOBBY.

I went from hanging out with a large number of friends to hanging with 8-14 year olds everyday.


I'm not complaining at all, the time I spend with those girls are some memorable moments that I'll never forget..lol




Well people ask what happened to all of your old friends?? I shrug my shoulders and simply say "I dont know". Although I see most of them daily, I have no idea, what HAPPENED to them. I guess after 8th grade was over which meant "HELLO HIGH SCHOOL". It also meant, "BYE-BYE cheerleading", and I didnt want it to end.


We cheered for the Satellite West Emeralds, coached by the lovely "Ms.Tracy", as everyone knows her as. We were not only a squad, but a group of sisters. Yeah, I have to admit, we had our ups-and-downs..well more downs than ups..lol but we still loved eachother, lol.


So when the summer was over and we all entered new doors, we left eachother on the other side. =( ..



I now work at a Junior High School as a tutor.. =) and I also help out with my old squad now known as Diamonds Varsity.



As for my old friends. They do nothing but hang out in the hood with a lot of good for nothing boys [minus about 5 off the top of my head], and chase them around all day, which is sort of childish. Nope I dont wont any part of it ! =)



So basically, I'm not HATIN them for losing touch, or for treating me the way they did. I basically hate that they arent doing anything better with their lives.



they could start or join a dance group, try and get a job, or participate in after school activities which look great when applying for colleges.

Although I dont hang out with them anymore, it would be really cool if I knew that they were doing something positive with their lives.. =)
It doesnt matter what they do, as long as they do something that will have a positive effect on their lives and benefit their future. =)..so they should most definitely GET A HOBBY.

College is right around the corner.

The biggest problem in High School today is drama. Well more specifically, haters. Sometimes people jus hate to see others successful. Since they can't knock your hustle, they do anything in their power to make you feel belittled.

Let's take a similar situation that just happened to come to my mind ... ;) :

hmmm... maybe you happen to be a good looking young lady, you have outstanding grades, the boys seem to like you, and unfortunately there's always someone who can't stand to see you make it... well what do you do?

• ignore them ! <---- that's what your parents told you to do back in elementary school. Really didn't work because by you ignoring them and not taking a stand for something made them feel that they were getting somewhere...

so what do you really do ???

I say you let them know that you love the hate and it doesn't stop your grind because no matter where you go, who you are, and what you do there will be someone that doesn't want to see you shine.. so I say let the haters hate.

AND FOR ALL THOSE THAT DON'T WAT TO SEE ME SHINE...HATE ON!! lol =)

VOTE '08

Sitting in class today I was surprised to hear two of my fellow classmates discussing the election. It shocked me because these weren't the chip off the ol' block type of boys so to hear them talking about something sooooo educating and powerful shocked me .. =)

They were basically saying how important it was to vote and although they're not able to vote yet, they still had no problem stating their opinions on who should be elected into office. Hearing these words come out of their mouths made me noticed that behind the Brooklyn shirts, True Religions, and Guccis were educated young men who definitely had a lot to say about the presidential election.

That goes to show that sometimes we underestimate the knowledge of young men today .. lol. We sometimes think that just because they dont strive for excellence, that they're not really educated. But we fail to realize that there are some young men who actually know some things .. Well what do you know?? =)

Well lastly, I just wanted to say to all you 18+ people out there, on Tuesday, November 4th, 2008 you should get out and vote. This election is one of the most important elections of our lives and it's important that we elect THE right person to run our country. I'm not going to tell you all WHO to vote for it's just important that you get out there and do so.

hmmm if I were old enough to vote I wonder who I'd vote for.....

Degrassi, a show that every teenager loves to watch.. well, i cant speak for every teen so i guess i could say I love it. But if there's anyone out there like me then you enjoy nothing more on a friday night than watchin Degrassi. Whether its the Drama, Suspense, Love triangles, and Action it catches my eyes. but have you ever wondered to yourself do things like this actually happen?? UHHH YEAH!

Being a teenager is like the hardest thing ever, I mean theres waking up in the morning trying to find something to wear so you can walk the runway, yes HIGH SCHOOL is the NEW FASHION SHOW. Then there's the struggle of passing all your classes. Not to mention all the DRAMA. LOL

From Girl Fights, to all that he-said-she-said bizz, staying FRESH, partyin, fitiin in, and back again, there's nothing that sparks the eye of a teenager than drama. lol !
